Isnt it so beautiful? I remember being fascinated with the thought of what Turkish Delight could be...I'd never heard of it...It sounded amazing ;) I guess I was a hungry little child when i first read this book!~
i know, turkish delight did sound amazing even though i had never heard of it either. by a fortunate coincidence, i was able to go to london with some girlfriends in my early twenties. i went into a crabtree & evelyn (which we have here) and found a quaint little round wooden box of rose lemon turkish delights. i immediately bought it, waited to we got back home in the states and opened it up with my then boyfriend (now husband). it was different at first, i was expecting more of a 'wow!' kind of taste, but now i find myself wanting to have it once more again...

There's always a special place in my heart for The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe. I love these pictures, Andrea.
