houses, as i have mentioned before, have special meaning for me. i still am haunted by dreams of houses, that are majestic, quiet, still but have a looming character. of ages beyond my life, of stories of life that belonged there. i don't know quite how to explain it. they tend to have some magic for me. some of the dreams collide into each other, some are distinct but they come and come again. for years even. it's the mystery of dreams that i will never understand but i can say, they are some of the sweetest, leaving behind a sort of residue on my mind, one that i often desire to feel again...

What a special little house. I adore the shutters on the window and the tiles on the room. I would wander through that door and I sure its contents with surprise and delight me! Your work is marvellous! Houses have a lot of significance for me too and appear often in my illustrations. There are a place of wild imaginaings, dreams, the creative space, the home, shelter...
