i love owls. they are one of my dearest, favorite animals. lately, all i've been wanting to do is draw owls, more owls, different owls. as i drink my night cap tea, i'll leave you with a few of my drawings and a couple of very inspirational vintage owl illustrations...
The Wide Eyed Owl
There's a wide eyed owl
with a pointed nose,
Two pointed ears
and claws for his toes.
He sits on a branch
and he looks at you.
He flaps his wings
and he says "twit twoo."
A wise old owl lived in an oak
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?
