Thursday, for some reason, has always been one of my favorite days and today was no different. The mail came early and while I was doing some things, I heard a thud outside the window and a knock on the door. I thought perhaps it was some postcards I ordered but instead, it was a box for me(!) from my friend
Amber. Soooo excited, I brought it to my room and found pretties for both Nat and I. After Nat came home from school, she saw a few things laid out on the bed and smiled. Yes, they are for you! Here is Nat, modeling (some in very

I truly love the ease of these outfits on my little girl and can see her making much use of them this Summer. She also sent me a very pretty pink mexican dress. Now, I have to say that I have been working on making myself healthier with a major change in diet and
walking. I'm happy to say that I am thinning down and when I achieve where I want to be (hopefully!), I will
be showcasing this little number. In the meantime, here's a sneak preview of it on me and of course, modeled by Nattie...
She also included a very cute, vintage wall art, featuring a holly hobbie like scene of a little girl praying before bed. I LOVE IT and will be putting it in Nat's room (again, big smiles). I little note was included on a cute vintage illustration owl tag (Amber, you know me so well)!
Thank you Thank you Thank you! It's amazing this online world. I wouldn't have met such lovely women and beautiful, dear friends (you know who you are). I am very grateful for them and hope to one day, meet them all in person for afternoon tea ;)

Yay Andrea! That got there super fast, and I am so glad you liked it! I love rompers for summertime little girls, dresses are awesome but don't lend themselves to play as readily.

oooh, i have always loved everything having to do with holly hobbie. and you both look quite fetching in the mexican pink dress! mama, you are gorgeous and i hope you are never too hard on yourself. there's nothing like living in so-cal to make you feel inadequte, but girl you KNOW that goddess glowing within you is true. woman bodies are beautiful (so is walking and health of course!) and all i can say is celebrate yourself. meanwhile, i agree...making friends is the BEST thing about the online world and i hope we can all meet each other someday. wouldn't it be the merriest? have such fun with your package of goodies! happy june day to you friend.
