As promised, I am here to share photos from last week's visit to the Fullerton Arboretum. It was such a nice day and Rick really wanted us to (one) get out of the house and (two) inspire Natalie to use her camera she got for her birthday. She was too excited exploring and playing tour guide that I used the camera to record the day.
The arboretum has distinct sections. In these photos you will scenes from the following areas: cultivated, mojave, woodlands, mediterranean, desert and perennial.
A few disclaimers: the camera is a very basic and cheap camera so some of the photos don't do the day justice. You will be (obviously) seeing lots of pictures with Nattie in them :) and the last...I apologize for the size of the photos. I am using photobucket and it takes way too long to resize them all. Because of the format I have here, some of the photos will be cut off. Just click on them to see the photo in its entirety. Thanks!!
I can't wait for the day when I can be able to identify all sorts of plants and herbs. I don't know what this is but I think it's beautiful.
this picture is not entirely in focus, but it kind of had a little alice in wonderland feel to it. at least to me :)
We had a little story book time for a little rest time. We read Sam and the Firefly, a favorite of ours.
